#BESUMMER19 BOOKENDING SUMMER DAY 28: ‘Til September Comes

In case you don’t know, Bookending Summer is one of the quarterly events, running under the umbrella term “Bookend Events”, aspiring to bring the book blogging community closer together! Bookending Summer has a vague theme of Ocean, Beach, Vacations, Contemporaries (you know…Summer), but you DO NOT need to stick to this theme at all! Hosted by Clo @ Book Dragons and Sam @ Fictionally Sam

You can find all rules, info and prompts on Clo’s post HERE.

Today’s host is Amy @ The Little Booknerds In The Corner (25th-28th July):
‘Till September Comes
August is fast approaching which means September is coming up soon. What books are you hoping to read before summer finishes?

I honestly just want to get to finish the books I’m already reading lol! It seems like everytime I start a book for a readathon, I don’t finish it until months after the readathon is over. But for the time being, here are some current reads I’m on right now.

Six of Crows –  I just got into this one, and while I’m kinda confused about how the world-building works, I at least think the characters are interesting and fascinating.

T-Minus by Shannon Greenland –  I started this one for a book tour and it’s very fast-paced but informative. Also, it features the first female President; how sick is that?!

Children of Blood and Bone –  Yes, I’m still reading this 2 years later, but the audiobook is keeping my interest while reading. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s so good, but I just never have the need to read it right away. But I will!

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Ruthfuss –  This one is a bit of a weird one for me, because while I like this book, I don’t quite know what it’s about…

City of Bones (reread) –  This is a reread for The Institute Discord group’s readathon, and I forgot how much I enjoyed reading TMI as an audiobook.

Comeback: A K-pop Novel by Ashwood & Rose –  I’m honestly reading this to satisfy my BTS/K-pop obsession, but the story is really good and cute and wonderful, and I hope to finish it real soon.

Red, White and Royal Blue – Ohmygod this book is so funny, so cute, and so adorable! I think I’ll be able to finish this sooner than any of the other books in my list here (this and Comeback) because of how much I’m enjoying them both.

Which books do you want to finish before summer ends? Comment below!
