Popular Books That I Couldn’t Get Into
What are some books that got all the hype but that you just couldn’t get into? No judgment here! Just honest conversation of the books that didn’t work out for us, no matter how much we wanted them to.
Star Wars – Everyone and their mama has seen Star Wars at least once in their life, probably over and over, and while I understand that it’s the best series/saga for them, I’ve never felt the need to get into it. I’ve seen a few clips from the older versions with Princess Leia, but other than that, I’m good.
Lord of the Rings – I’ve only read The Hobbit and couldn’t get through that one either, it was so boring!!
Jurassic Park – This is another that I’ve only read a few chapters of, and I couldn’t get into the scientific aspects of it.
Game of Thrones – Another one where everyone and their mama has seen the show, read the books, and I’ve just had no interest. I’ve seen gifs and clips of some episodes, but other than that, I haven’t found the desire to sit and watch a full episode. It seems pretty cool, but to be a fan of that show, you have to put time, money and energy into it, it’s like a second job. LAWD!! No thanks!!
