Books (Not) to Read During Finals Week // BOOKENDING SPRING 2019 DAY 30

It’s the final day of Bookending Spring 2019, and I’m really sad about it. This has been a fun blogging event, and I’m glad Sam and Clo brought it back for another round. Luckily, Bookending Summer 2019 begins on July 1-31, so I’ll be back with this until then. Let’s get into our last day of BESpring!

Created by Sam @ FictionallySam and Clo @ BookDragons, this event is about bringing the whole book blogging community together, under the umbrella term, “Bookend Events”.

Today’s prompt is hosted by Sam @ Fictionally Sam (April 29th-30th): Books (Not) to Read During Finals Week: Soul sucking and captivating books that will keep you hooked on the story and not on your studies

Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody –  I would suggest not reading this until you are completely done with whatever it is you’re doing (in this case, finals/tests/etc) because the world-building will take you in and leave you dry.

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi –  Same with CBB, especially the audiobook! It will draw you in and make you forget what you are doing because it’s that damn good.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo –  Mind you, I haven’t finished this one, but it’s already gripping my attention, so I feel the need to warn you. Do not get into this gig until you have nothing to do. It will leave you sitting in the dark, wondering where the day went.

I’ll end this here, since I can’t think of anymore lol. But thank you again to Sam and Clo for creating this awesome event! Tomorrow is May, which starts up a new wrap-up from me. See you then!
