Bookending Winter 2018 Day 26: Post-Christmas Food Baby Books

How was everyone’s Christmas/holiday? Did you guys get everything you wanted? I only got an iPad from my mom and some money from my dad. I really didn’t want anything big for this year, but I was surprised to have gotten the iPad from my mother. I didn’t think I would get one until later next year. But anyway, I hope you guys had a good holiday too! On to today’s post…

It’s Day 26 of the Bookending Winter 2018 Event, created by Sam @ FictionallySam and Clo @ BookDragons. For more information on what the Christmas themed event is all about, visit my previous post HERE.

Amy @ The Little Booknerds in the Corner is hosting from December 25-28. Her prompt of the day is:

Prompt Title: Post Christmas Chilling
Explanation: After eating Christmas dinner you feel very sluggish. List down 5 books that would be perfect to read while you feel like this.

I do feel that way almost everytime I eat, that’s why I can’t concentrate on much reading afterward. I feel like if it’s too much world-building (like a fantasy or drama) then I won’t read it. But if I’m at work and bored, then I can latch onto a slow paced book too. So it depends on how I’m feeling. But as for Christmas “itis” these are some books I’ll read.

Nocturnal Meetings of the Misplaced by R.J. Garcia

Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
