– Thursday 10th October
Study Group
Fall is back to school and you need to organize a study group. Pick eight characters and discuss which subjects they bring their expertise to.

First Son Alex Clairmont-Diaz (Red,White and Royal Blue) – political science – Reading Red, White & Royal Blue for the political background is a bit of a reach for me, considering that I’m not very educated on the subject. So having a bisexual First Son of the first female President might help me understand the political jargon in class.

Sophie Washington (T-Minus) – political science/IT –  Sophie is another First Child of another first female POTUS who could interact with Alex from RWRB about their political issues, policies and such. Also, Sophie has the background in information technology and computer science, so that’s another asset she could help us study.

Zelie (Children of Blood & Bone) – African Magical Studies –  Reading CBB makes me want to learn more about African culture, and how magic is incorporated in her culture. Also, as a black woman myself, it would help bring me closer to my motherland’s country and culture.

Jace Wayland (Mortal Instruments/Shadowhunters) – Shadowhunter Studies –  Jace isn’t the best teacher, but he could teach us some tips and tricks on Shadowhunter history, fighting styles and making runes.

Claire Fraser (Outlander) – Scottish Time Travel & Sociology/Nursing –  It took me a while to figure out what exactly Claire could study and teach us in our group, because she’s resourceful in many things: nursing, becoming a doctor, teaching, Scottish sociology, Scottish History, and time travel. Claire’s husband Jamie could step in from time to time to further discuss 1700s Scotland history, but for the most part, Claire could show us everything and more.

Xiomara Batista (The Poet X) – Urban Poetry –  My girl Xiomara and I could discuss poetry and share our most beloved pieces to each other, to enhance our craft as writers. I’m not a huge poetry writer, but I could still read Xio’s and appreciate them. I could also show her my blog, short stories and fanfiction.

Who would you invite to your study group? What subjects would they study? Comment below!
