Longest Books on My TBR | TOP 5 WEDNESDAY #T5W #TomeToppleReadathon

For those who don’t know what Top 5 Wednesday is, it’s a weekly book group about our top five favorite things in the middle of the week.

Created by Lainey from GingerReadsLainey and now hosted by Samantha from ThoughtsonTomes, this week’s entry describes our top 5 longest books on our TBR, in celebration of Tome Topple Readathon, which is an annual readathon to get us reading books over 500 pages.

November 7th: Largest Books on TBR— In honor of #TomeToppleReadathon coming back this month, discuss those big books on your shelf!

5. The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth (485 pages) – I actually haven’t heard much about this book, other than the movie adaptation has Chloe Grace Moretz in it, as well as Sasha Lane from American Honey. But the plot of conversion therapy and concentration camps of some sort seems both horrifying and interesting at the same time. Plus, the UK book cover is stunning!

4. Children of Blood & Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (531 pages)-  This book has been off and on my TBR for the past year! Everytime I start to read it from my Overdrive, I don’t want to give it back because it’s just so good!!

3. The Twilight Saga Illustrated Guide (543 pages) –  For some reason, I thought this book was another graphic novel, but it’s really a full illustrated guide and background information on all things Twilight. Or at least the first book, if I’m not mistaken. It has all of the information about Bella, the Cullens, the nomads, the Volturi Coven, all of the other worldly covens, and it’s cool to get into. If you’re a diehard Twilight fan like me!

2. The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne (582 pages) –  I think I added this on my TBR after watching Joce from SquibblesReads’ video featuring the book, so I had to add it on my TBR. Not knowing that it was over 500 pages long! I don’t know when I’ll get to it, but I hope so soon.

1. The Diviners by Libba Bray (603 pages) – I initially wasn’t going to add this because I don’t read horror/scary books, but I still want to read it because I’ve heard so much about it. I just hope it’s not too terrifying to get nightmares from…
