One thing I’d love to change about my Christmas season is not getting sick during the winter months. I usually get sick around winter and spring seasons, with colds and flu, sore throat, headache, aches and pains, and the likes. I don’t get high fevers or hospital visits, so that’s a good thing. But at the same time, I hate getting sick and missing out on things because I keep getting sick. And with me being possibly anemic and iron-deficient, I’m more susceptible to sickness than “normal” people who get sick. I’ve been inhaling cough drops, tea, soups and things since Black Friday until today, and I hate it so much. As of the time of this post going up, I’m still sick but I’m a little less than when I had started getting sick on Black Friday. #prayformeifyoupray
Other than being sick a lot, I’d like a change of scenery to come this Christmas time. My family is very spread out — my mom and I are based in New Jersey; my dad just moved to Florida last December, so he’s there now; my sister and her family are in Texas; not to mention my many cousins and distant relatives in other states like New York and California. Basically, I have family all over, but I don’t know where I’d spend it. My mom and I usually spend Christmas at home, but I guess we’ll see what happens. Then again, I feel like we just saw all of our family this past September for my sister’s wedding in Texas, sooo idk. We’ll see!!
As for gift-getting, all I want for Christmas is books, gift cards, and money. So that’s not changing.
