Book #2 Update #3

I just wanted to share with you that I’ve officially found a new editor for my second poetry book!!

I’m back to working with Erin L. McCoy, with whom I’d worked with on Reality Check, my first poetry collection. I’d initially started working with another editor on Reedsy but she fell through due to illness. So I hit up Erin to see if she’d like to work together again, and she said yes!!

We had our pre-editing Zoom meeting last week, and it was really nice to catch up with each other. She’s also writing her first book, which is really exciting!!

I’m excited to see what she thinks of Book 2 and her editor advice and information. I remember for Reality Check she’d given me a ton of feedback on how to grow as an author.

We’ll be working together towards the end of the year, so this will be my last 2023 update for Book 2. Hopefully, I’ll be able to move along the publication process better with a quality manuscript.
