Best Original Trope // 12 Days of Blogmas 2021 Day 16

We continue our 12 Days of Blogmas 2021 with Day 16, using Sophie @ Beware of the Reader‘s Blogmas prompts. Hers features Best Original Trope:

Blogmas Day 16: Best Original Trope

I don’t really know my favorite best original trope. However, I do know that my favorite trope is either enemies to lovers or friends to lovers. I love this hidden premise between old enemies that had started from childhood, or a misunderstanding, something that both characters have to work together to fix in order to become closer. Usually, it’s a misunderstanding or miscommunication the reason why they became enemies all the time. Friends, especially best friends to lovers, is my ultimate favorite trope because it’s a little more realistic. There’s more realism between longtime/childhood friends going from that to falling in love, getting married, having kids, the whole happily ever! It’s the dreamer in me.
