Here’s another new issue of Let’s Talk Bookish!
Created by Rukky @ Eternity Books & Dani @ Literary Lion, this is a segment where discuss certain topics, share our opinions, and spread the love by visiting each other’s posts. Posts are written on Friday’s.
This week’s prompt: (suggested by Nicole @ Thoughts Stained with Ink)
Prompts: Everyone blogs differently, how do you do it? Do you schedule posts long before they’re published, how long? Do you write several drafts of a post and edit them, or do you not edit at all? Perhaps you simply write a post and put it up for the world to see immediately? There’s no right or wrong answer!
When I first started blogging, I used to post every day, especially when I would host special events like Bookend Events, or do book blog tour hosting gigs for indie authors. I would do them every so often. I had kept the same writing schedule for years, even when I transitioned from one Blogger layout to another. Now that I’ve transitioned again to WordPress, I don’t write as often. If anything, I’ll write 1-2 times a week, 3-4 times a month. I don’t have a set schedule, I just post whenever I feel like it, regardless of the topic. Unless I’m doing a post that needs a set scheduled date, then I’ll post then. But other than that, I’m not letting myself get stressed out about posting on time anymore.
I want to create the most relaxed online environment for my creativity to flourish!
