Sweater Weather // HAPPY BOOKENDING AUTUMN 2019 DAY 1

Happy first day of Bookending Autumn 2019, hosted by Sam @ FictionallySam and Clo @ BookDragons!! If you don’t know what this event is, or you need a refresher, visit my last post HERE.

I’m the host for Day One, so here is my prompt:

  • Tuesday, October 1 // Sweater Weather It’s officially sweater weather, so break them out! Name some books that make you feel warm and cozy, like a nice sweater in the fall.

Comeback: A Kpop Novel by Lyn & Ashwood –  I’m in the middle of reading this one and it’s just so cute and funny! I love BTS, so the group in this book called NEON reminds me of BTS’ start as an unknown guy group from a small company. Both groups had dreams of making it and being successful, not only for their home countries and families but for themselves. The shenanigans that the boys from NEON are so adorable, and I can see why they’re such a tight-knit group already.

Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston –  I can talk about this book all day, every day, even though I’m still not done with the audiobook. Prince Henry and First Son Alex’s relationship is just so funny and sweet. It’s not very warm and cozy, but the atmosphere of the book itself is pretty cozy.

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli –  I haven’t read all of Simon vs., but the bits that I have read is just so cute and warm, giving me all of the snuggly feels. I watch the movie all the time, and it’s just the most adorable thing!

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han –  The book itself is pretty boring, but the movie is something I can rewatch over and over that I’d never get tired of. It’s become my comfort movie, along with Harry Potter, Twilight, and Big Brother.

I can’t wait to see everyone’s answers to these prompts, and even if you don’t have a blog or social media, I encourage you to share your favorites in the comments below.
