Fictional Places for a Date // #T5W TOP 5 WEDNESDAY

For those who don’t know what Top 5 Wednesday is, it’s a weekly book group about our top five favorite things in the middle of the week.

Created by Lainey from GingerReadsLainey and now hosted by Samantha from ThoughtsonTomes, this week’s entry describes the top 5 Fictional Places You’d Take a Date To.

This also ends the monthly theme of romance-centered topics for February and Valentine’s Day. I’m not dating anyone at the moment, so this is a bit of relief for me lol. But as a romantic at heart, I’ll always find ways to add some romance to these topics.

Themyscira – Wonder Woman
I’ve grown weary of the Wonder Woman movie, but I wouldn’t mind taking a trip to Themyscira, the land of all-women-for-women-all-the-time. If my date wouldn’t be found with one of the Amazons, of course.
Wakanda – Black Panther
Since it’s Black History Month (until tomorrow, even though every day is BHM for me!), I would absolutely love to take a date trip to Wakanda, if not only to see the heightened technology and society that makes the planet so great.

Iverness, Scotland – Outlander
I love the show, and even though it would be great to see the sites of Iverness, and seeing Claire and Jamie living life in the cold, cozy, freezing, warm-hearted atmosphere of the Scots.

Idris – Mortal Instruments
I’m still in the process of rereading this series, and Idris sounds like the most dangerous, exciting, gorgeous place to visit for a date. Also, I’d love to see Alicante, the capital city of Idris.
