Bookending Winter 2018 Day 6: Anticipated 2019 Releases!

It’s Day six of the Bookending Winter 2018 Event, created by Sam @ FictionallySam and Clo @ BookDragons. For more information on what the Christmas themed event is all about, visit my previous post HERE.

Today’s host is Imogen @ Imogen’s Typewriter from December 4-7. The prompt of the day is:

Prompt title: 2019 Releases! | Explanation: The books being released in 2019 that you’re excited about.

Again, but Better by Christine Riccio – If Christine’s name sounds familiar, she’s a well-known Booktuber, with her channel PolandBananasBooks. I’ve been following her channel for years, pretty much ever since she first started, and I’m very excited for her debut novel to drop. I hope it doesn’t receive the negative backlash like Sasha Alsberg’s Zenith did. But since this is a contemporary/romantic comedy, the expectations aren’t going to be super high like a fantasy would.
Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi –  I’m still reading the first book, Blood and Bone, but I’m already ridiculously excited for book 2 to come out next year!

The Fever King by Victoria Lee –  I think I added this book to my TBR through a giveaway a month ago, but the premise of it sounds good for me to read. I don’t read many fantasy books — it’s not a genre I go to right away — but this one sounds like something I’d enjoy.
