This week’s topic: Top 5 cozy fall reads
5. Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham – I listened to the audiobook, and this was a fast, quick, funny read. Lauren’s narrative was so funny and quirky; the book itself is perfect to sit back and chill with on a cool, fall day.
4. The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon – This gives me a fall, breezy, dramatic vibe that’s perfect for the upcoming season.
3. Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli – I haven’t finished this one, but the vibe gives me such a homey, cozy feeling that it good for a rainy day.
2. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han – As much as I loved the movie, the book is kinda slow so far. I don’t think it would be too slow for fall days, though. I thought the vibe would pick up throughout the story, like the movie did. But I hope the rest of the book picks up.
1. You’re Welcome, Universe by Whitney Gardner – This is another book with a slow vibe, but the main character knows how to keep you on her side, even if you don’t agree with her thoughts and actions. The energy is just enough for a cozy day around the house.
