STATE OF THE ARC # 2 UPDATE

I know this was supposed to come out on July 30th, but a lot has been going on in my life that I barely had time to make a proper post until now. That, and my July Wrap-Up, which went up a few days ago. But nonetheless, here is an update on my State of the ARC, created by Avalinah @ avalinahsbooks.

Rules of State of the ARC:

  • Mention that you’re linking up with State of the ARC @ AvalinahsBooks, which is a fun way to share our ARC progress, challenges, wins, woes and mishaps.
  • Include the link to this post, or the current State of the ARC post. You can use my State of the ARC image too.
  • Don’t forget to visit all the other people in the link-up and comment.
  • And most importantly – have fun!
I started out finishing Nocturnal Meetings of the Misplaced by R.J. Garcia for the ARC with your favorite color cover square, which was an ARC I got from Xpresso Tours. I still have to write the full review later this month, but in general, this was a really good read about friendship, family, the foster system, and a murder mystery.
I also finished Scattered Constellations by Ankita Singh for the ARC of a debut book square. I got this request via the author on Discord, and it was a lovely debut poetry novel.
I didn’t read Song of Blood and Stone by L.Penelope; One Wish Away by Ingrid Seymour; or Duplicity by Kristina Sanchez, so those didn’t end up on my Bingo list.

Even though it doesn’t look like a lot, I’m pretty pleased with my first update with the SOTA.
