3. Tiffany Sly Lives Here Now by Dana L. Davis – The story behind this book sounds hella interesting! You move in with your father after time and time again in the foster system, only to find out that he is not your real father?! Another man claims he’s your daddy?! Who do you believe? Who can you tell? What can you do? This is like the YA version of Maury and The People’s Court, and I love it!!
2. The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X.R. Pan – Leigh Chen Sanders is absolutely certain about one thing: When her mother died by suicide, she turned into a bird. When you start a synopsis like that, you’re bound to catch my attention! Also, this reminds me a little of Starfish by Akemi Dawn Bowman, the mix of Asian contemporary drama with art.
