#BOOKBLOGGERHOP (March 30-April 5): Book Clubs Can Be Fun, If Done Right

This week’s question is about book clubs, and if we participate in them. Note: This post was supposed to be done last week, obviously, but it’s been such a crazy weekend for me personally, that I’ve just now found the time to sit and write one post. Enjoy this very late post anyways!

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, I relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s question submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews:
How many book clubs do you belong to? If you do belong to an in-person book club, do you have meetings in the day or evening? Do you meet at someone’s house or meet at a local restaurant or coffee house?

My Answer:
I technically belong to three Meetup book clubs from my area in New Jersey. They are all in-person clubs, where we meet together in a café or Panera Bread nearby and discuss the latest group book. I used to go to one pretty often, but later on, I went less and less because the members didn’t read books I was interested in. The other two clubs are a bit new for me, so I haven’t visited them yet.

I ask this question back to you guys. Comment below if you participate in book clubs!
