About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, I relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s question submitted by Maria @ A Night’s Dream of Books:

When reading a book, do you use a bookmark to mark your place in the book, or do you just fold over the top corner of the page?

My Answer

I use both real bookmarks — both digitally on the Kindle app, and real, paper ones. But when I was younger, I used to dog-ear the bottom of pages from my favorite scenes or quotes. I haven’t done that in awhile, since I mostly read off my Kindle now. I also sometimes use Post-It tabs to keep track of things like that. Oh, and Goodreads! They have an excellent track record of my favorite scenes.

I ask this question back to you guys. Do you use bookmarks in your books while reading, or dog-ear the pages? Leave comments below!
