#BOOKBLOGGERHOP (FEBRUARY 9-15): Authors I Have “Met”

About the Book Blogger Hop

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer’s permission, I relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013.

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

This week’s question submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews
What authors have you met and where?
My Answer
I haven’t met any authors in person, but I do communicate a lot with Tonya Kuper, Ryan Ringbloom, Sheena Hutchinson, Ingrid Seymour and Inger Iversen on social media. I love how I’m not as afraid or scared or nervous to talk to those group of wonderful ladies as much as I was back in 2014-15. I never know if some authors can’t be bothered to interact with their fans (be it heavy schedules or just don’t want to). I used to think it was just at book signings or social media you could have a chance to talk to them, just to tell them how much you love their work. But I’ve found that it’s better just to say “hi” or ask how their day was. They like that kind of easy communication rather than just discussing the latest book they have out.

I ask this question back to you guys. Which authors have you met and where? Leave comments below!
