TOP TEN TUESDAY #28: Holiday Gift Guide for Writers

This week, I’ll be listing the top eight books to buy for the writer in your life. Since I’m a writer myself, I hope this list will help you in some bigger capacity.

These merch bags are so cool! Not only are they uniquely designed to fit the novel they represent, but each bag or T-Shirt is designed to have all of the words from the novel itself.

I for one can’t stand my desk. It’s too hard, the chair is too uncomfortable, the desk is too small. It has become a jungle and a junk stash for my old books. So if I received this cool standing desk, I know I’d be the happiest ever!!

I think I’ve seen something like this in Barnes & Noble, and I still think it’s a great way to get your writer’s creative juices flowing. Each page in this diary shows a prompt on how the writer can finish the story. Like, “The woman/man across from you at a cafe or cubicle: What did he or she dream last night?” Little phrases like that can spark up the imagination.

I love a pretty candle, even more when they are in reference to a favorite book. I don’t have any (yet), but I follow a lot of the companies on Instagram, like themeltinglibrary and merakicandles.
